Our doors open at 6:45 am every Monday at Waterloo Icehouse at the corner of 360 and 2222 (except New Year's, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve).  The Waterloo Icehouse main entrance is locked until 7am, so please enter through the outside gate by the playground.  You will find us behind the second glass door on the left.  We begin promptly at 7am.  

No prior public speaking skills are required.  You will see speakers from a variety of professions, possessing a range of experience.  When you hear great speakers, it is no accident!  Our most accomplished members practice regularly to get where they are.  A couple of our members have been coming to Get Up 'N' Go for over 30 years, many for a few years, and others joined only months or weeks ago.   

Please help yourself to a cup of coffee or juice, and one of our members will help you get settled.  If you arrive after the meeting gets started, please find an empty seat and enjoy the meeting.   

We do not ask guests to speak.  However, if you feel comfortable, we would be happy to let you try Table Topics (someone provides a topic, and you have 1-2 minutes to speak about it).  Please let one of our members know if you'd like to be a Table Topics speaker, and we will do our best to make it happen.  Usually we have time for 3-4 speakers during Table Topics.
